Chinese Lanterns Down Under

chinese lantern bbqThe Aussies love to try new things, it starts when they are little. Their parents feed them that very bizarre substance vegemite which is black yeast extract – now I know American kids would never try that out! But the Aussie kids did and they love it so I know they love to try new things. This is why the team at Sky Wish Lanterns (also known as Chinese Lanterns) was pleased to hear one of the team members was travelling to Melbourne to visit their family. We gave them some Chinese Lanterns to take with them and introduce to the Aussies to see what their thoughts would be and whether they would enjoy them.

We were told the lanterns were a success; they were taken to a family backyard BBQ where they were launched just as the sun was going down. Everyone was in awe of how spectacular they looked and was asking where they could buy some from. So mission completed! So all you Aussies out there, keep your eyes peeled for more Chinese Lanterns in the years to come.

We were thinking we should have given some to Russell Crowe that time he stopped in for a chat – only kidding! But I’m sure Russell would have loved them, he could have taken them on tour with him and his band, the crowd would have gone wild.

If you are travelling out of the United States and would like to take your Chinese Lanterns with you, it’s not a problem and they are perfectly safe, just ensure you place them in your luggage which is stored under the plane, as you will not be allowed to take them on as hand luggage.
